2022.01.19 16:58 Ieatherpinata Venue suggestions?
I’m looking for a venue to hold a military retirement ceremony and reception sometime around September 2022. It doesn’t need to be anything fancy. I was envisioning a place where we could have a food truck come, some sort of bar setup, and a place for people to hang out and celebrate. Lower to mid cape area would be ideal. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

2022.01.19 16:58 InfamousGrass0 Should I get a gym membership or buy my own personal equipment?
It’s a no-brainer, right? Cheap membership = all the equipment you need plus more. Why spend $300 on a set of weights instead? But here’s the thing—I (23M) know myself. I’m gonna go to the gym for the first few weeks, but then end up slowly drifting away. I feel like I have way more discipline & consistency when it comes to working out at home, plus I can comfortably work out at night; no need to drive, no need to mask, and showekitchen/bed is right next to me when I’m done. But at the same time, people are telling me it’s a huge waste of money to purchase weights or a treadmill, compared to a membership. Although I strongly feel I will get more RESULTS and consistency if everything was just at home, and that’s what matters most right? Results.
So what do you guys think? Is it worth it to just buy your own home equipment (ex. Treadmill & weights)? Or should I just grow a pair and gain more discipline to go to the gym after work? (Which is right next to my workplace...)
My brother-in-law just offered to sell me his home treadmill for only $250, which means I can get a treadmill + full weight set for $500 or less, and plus I can just sell them in the future! So that’s pulling me in the other direction.
At the end I know it’s my decision, but I just wanna hear your guys’ opinion, and maybe share your own experiences with this.

2022.01.19 16:58 DeBunkster Good order for finishing off quests and achievement diaries?
I want to create a 'game plan' to work towards on my account, now that I have less time every day to play. From easiest to hardest, how would y'all rate the following quests / diary fights?
Dragon Slayer 2
Monkey Madness 2
A Night at the Theatre
Song of the Elves
The Frozen Door
Mage Arena II
I'm way more of a skiller so high level combat makes me a bit anxious lol. I appreciate any input - thanks in advance!

So I am very much in a C-Band area as my tablet and phone have UWB. However when I try to activate home internet its says I can only have LTE internet.
Was sold an LTE plan with the white cube modem saying ti can be upgraded. Is there a way to say I am UWB and have it overrode?

2022.01.19 16:58 remingtonrat Are they really making us return to campus on Monday?
With what I’ve heard about the way things are going down there, encouraging an influx of students sounds like a terrible idea. Why won’t they implant some kind of hybrid system so people can stay remote if they want to? This is ridiculous

2022.01.19 16:58 Kdcius Circular scroll wheel ideas
| Hello there.|
I'm curently working on a project including an ESP32 and a circular OLED display. The goal is to build a remote with a simple interface to controll any smart appliances in my house.
I would like to controll it with a circular scroll wheel (I don't know how to call it), I'm thinking about something similar as the Galaxy watch 3 from samsung.
But I have no idea coming about how to create this kind of scroll wheel, so if any of you already created such a thing or have any suggestion, I would be glad to hear it ^^'.
PS: If you already built or seen this kind of remote also tell me, I could get some inspiration
Here is a very quick render of what it could look like ;)

Hello! So I found this beautiful historical pattern https://webshop.skansen.se/en/textiliesomnadsbeskrivningasomnadsbeskrivning-klanning-1850-tal that sadly doesnt come in a pdf version and is ridiculously expensive getting it send to Spain. Maybe before covid shipping restrictions it was more accesible, i dont know. I was wondering if maybe someone in possesion of it would be ok sharing it with me?it would be for domestic use only. Thank you!

2022.01.19 16:58 dreamweaver1998 Tips and advice needed for potty training
My husband and I have been trying to potty train our 2 year old (he's 3 in April). I think we're confusing him because we can't agree on a method and stick to it.
I know what I would do, I've read some articles, I feel like I'd have a handle on the situation. The problem is that I work full-time and my husband stays home with our kids (we also have a 1 year old). My husband agrees with everything I say about potty training, but he doesn't commit to it (he always has a different excuse).
We followed the 3 day potty training method over the Christmas break when I was home and we were very successful. Since I returned to work though, my husband has him back in diapers for most of the day. He doesn't want our son having an accident anywhere.... but I said that's all part of the learning process. If he has an accident he learns from it, especially poops. Husband is horrified when son poops in his underwear (he's yet to successfully poop in the potty). Obviously husband doesn't show our son how horrified he is of accidents, we talk him through them. But that's the main reason he's still putting diapers on our son. I said he won't learn if he can't make accidents.
Like right now, I messaged home on my break and asked if son is wearing underwear. Husband said "no, we were just out for a walk and I haven't put any on him yet." He can wear underwear on a walk. I don't see that as a valid reason for using a diaper.
Potty training and then putting him back in diapers seems counter productive and like it would be confusing to my toddler. Am I wrong?
For those of you who have potty trained successfully, what would you do in my situation?
What tips or words of advice can you share with me?
Thanks in advance for the help!!
Also, to add before I post. I'm not upset with my husband, he's a wonderful father! This isn't a rant or a fight we're having. I just want an outside opinion and nobody among our friends/family is far enough 'outside' for their opinion to be nonbiased. And I don't plan on using any information gained here to try and 'win' or anything like that. This isn't about me or my husband, it's about trying to do our joined best for our son. He deserves nothing but our best and I don't feel like that's what he's getting when it comes to potty training. We're both kind of lost.
